About

Shop Girl was inspired by my Depression-era mom who taught my siblings and me at a young age how to contribute to the family and others, to be entrepreneurial, to repurpose, to reuse and to recycle. Very little went into the waste stream. We also were taught to help others — most people did in a farming community. We continue those teachings in this artsy, vintage shop located in a charming residential neighborhood. Established in June 2016, we carry vintage items and antiques, handcrafted furniture and accessories, local artists’ paintings, gardening items, and excellent Antique Improver and MudPaint for furniture. We especially love midcentury modern and farmhouse styles. We hope to inspire you. We’re not a FINE store. We’re a FIND store.
