SPACE A home design’s mission is to find hidden gems and give them a new life. I created SPACE A after spending 25 years as a journalist working in New York, Miami, Brussels and Washington, D.C. for several major news organizations. I covered the 9/11 attacks, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the Pentagon, New York City politics, presidential elections and much more. I'm an Air Force brat and married to an Army combat veteran. Now I'm following my longtime passion for home design. I like things that tell a story. So where does the name SPACE A home design come from? SPACE A is a military term that stands for space available. It's the military version of flying stand-by. If there's space available, you can fly.
