About

Established in 2009 on Mount Desert Island, Good Design Here features a diverse collection of Modern and Antique, focused on Design and Quality Craftmanship. From Ming to Qing, Mughal to Raj, Regency to Art Nouveau/Deco, Mid-Century Modern into the 21st Century. Our eclectic indoor and outdoor Galleries carry a wide array of items, among them rare and important pieces of furniture, fine art, and decorative items by both iconic and lesser-known creators. Our focus is 20th Century Modern Art and Design. Recent and current installations have featured designers Hvidt & Molgaard; Hans Wegner; Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Lilly Reich; Nanna Ditzel, T. J Robsjohn-Gibbings, Charles and Ray Eames; Alvar Aalto; Joseph Tracy; and Borge Mogensen.
