Ready for Good Furnishings is a furniture, appliances, and home goods store in Lawrence, Kansas. It is a nonprofit social enterprise, so its proceeds support its mission of generating jobs, training, and mentorship for youth making the difficult transition to adulthood who’ve had experience in the foster care or juvenile justice systems. Shop our store to help furnish a future! Your support helps us prepare youth for success in life and work. Youth in our programs receive job readiness training, paid supportive employment, resume writing assistance, mock interview practice, coaching around youth goals, and connections to a growing network of employer partners upon graduation.
