Madden-McFarland is one of Kansas City’s most recognized furnituere & interior design firms. It was founded in 1920 by Gene E. McFarland, who set up his home studio on Paseo Boulevard in Kansas City, Missouri. Years later, in 1969, Bernie Madden joined Gene and ultimately purchased the company in 1975, with a vision of expanding his staff to include professional interior designers and a larger showroom space. We continue to operate today as a family-owned business with an award-winning commercial and residential interior design studio and retail furniture showroom. We carry numerous lines of furniture and upholstery, lamps and lighting, carpet, rugs and floor covering, as well as a tasteful collection of art, textiles and wallcoverings.
